Events: from Dec through to June – online, local and abroad

*Stockport College have heard that they have been successful in their bid to host an HEA seminar.  The theme is about providing ‘fresh feedforward’.  Agreed date is 29th June, 2012… but more on that and the programme nearer the time.

HEA seminars:  ‘Participating institutions will each receive a grant of £500 to host and deliver a workshop or seminar promoting research and evidence that has informed departmental and institutional policy and/or practice.’
The thematic call is closed but the discipline call is open throughout the year.

*Discovering mentoring and using it to enhance student experience for support, retention and employability.

* And another on 14th December – this one at 1:00 pm:  JISC Digital Media will run the second in its series of three live, free, online one-hour webinars on video creation.  This one will focus on the production phase of the video creation process, where the actual video footage is shot.  Attendance free for all members of any UK FE or HE institution.

Organisers are currently reviewing proposals for sessions received so far (the deadline was Nov 21st)  before deciding whether to extend the deadline. If you are still interested in proposing a session for the conference, please contact events@aldinhe.ac.uk to register your interest
