* Introduction to Bid writing – online session
New to bid writing?  Want to develop your skills?
The aim of this session is to develop an understanding of the key factors involved in writing a successful bid.
Presentation – by Don Passey of Lancaster University – followed by lots of time for questions.
Revised date:  Wed 26 January 3.30-4.30.  Book via the JISC RSC events website
 [Still waiting for the JISC Learning and Teaching Innovation Grant call?  This might be just the thing to help you prepare… That call is due in January, will let you know if it comes out as plannedHandy too for this other call on eportfolios – deadline January 31st]

*Free ICT e-courses
This looks a good opportunity and one really worth exploring.  NB it’s self study.  Potential to harness in different ways?
(My thanks again to Martin H. from RSC NE for pointing out this one)

* Netskills workshops
A range of workshops offered on some excellent topics – from ‘Collaborative tools to support the learner experience’ to ‘an Introduction to instructional design for elearning’.  Alas not being held that close to us in the Northwest (Newcastle, Birmingham, Edinburgh, London) and there is a cost (advance bookings £128) but if this coincides with something that particularly interests you and you happen to be there… worth looking over
